what do you think i was making fun of it all year?

Excuse me, you were making fun of ME all year. And if you do recall, I really hated you for it. You made fun of me for liking screamo, even though I don't. I am seriously into maybe 3 or 4 bands that have screaming at all. So shut the fuck up, Branden, because you're an arrogant bastard who isn't even remotely associated with the scene at all.

you always took it personally. i never meant it like that. I didnt mean to make fun of YOU. i'm sorry, i really didnt mean it to be taken personally. i never made direct attacks like what you just did. that actually really does hurt because i thought we were getting along pretty well by the end of the year. if you do recall i did compliment the music you were listening to when i first rode with you.

That's not what I remember. I definitely remember you making direct comments to me about me. Yes, I do remember that, and how you were surprised that you actually liked it. And this doesn't mean we're not getting along well anymore.

One of those "You non-conformists are all alike" things, eh? I recall sitting in Wendys after ryans/your b-day blast, looking around, and seeing everyone in the room wearing gloves with the fingers cut off besides me.

Haha, yeah, definitely. It's just like the numetal kids at school who t0tally hated the world and t0tally hated conformity even though you couldn't really tell any of them apart...

i guess its okay to follow trends sometimes, but only if you do it because you like it, not because 'everyone else is doing it' or because youre trying to be a certain way [i know you do neither, just thinking out loud]
which is what most people do
and that annoys me to no end

idk. like i dont even think about what is and isnt. i just do what i want. and sometimes its being original and sometimes its not

but yeah i am making no sense, haha, and anyways i agree with what you said :] haha. esp about bands/ fashion trends all being the same lately

i think it's because of the shift of what's 'popular' in music lately. like from rap and everything to now. and the scene being more popular. and more people trying to be 'scene'
idkkkkkkk. =/ haha
SUP @ THE LONGEST COMMENT EVERRRRRRR :]

I definitely know what you mean! Liiiike ballet flats are really trendy right now and they're pretty much all I wear, but it's because I think they're freaking adorable, not just because they're a staple for any scene wardrobe haha.

Yeah, I think that's what it is too. When I was in 10th grade I actually tried to be scene, which I now know was lame to do, but I did it because it went along with the music I listened to... ya know?? I was expressing myself sort of haha. ANYWAY. I remember someone asking me if I was the only scene kid at my school and I said "yeah, definitely" but now my school is CRAWLING with scene kids. But ya know, I tried to be scene when Fall Out Boy was my favorite band and they were still virtually unknown.

haha exactly

ehh, it wasnt popular to do then though, even if it was a phase you were going along with. so whatvevs either way
and oh fob.. how things have changed. gasp, i remember when it was cool to like them... haha
