Today I cancel Demon
On Saturday Demon went down, big style. Apparently all customers were affected (although the announcement, when it was eventually put up some 2 hours into the outage, said only some customers and the were experiencing difficulty rather than impossible to connect), and demon's answer to this was allow customers to connect to their 'support' line, ( Read more... ) -
Wickes - Fail (with a small recovery)
So Wickes, bit like Homebase / B&Q but aimed more at the trader. That said, they're trying more to compete with the likes of B&Q / Homebase as I see it. Proud to put their name on it or something like that. Today, I will mostly not be going to India
As a result of Iceland kicking off and the fear that the ash could be ingested into jet engines with adverse effects (well, engines stopping at 40k feet I consider to be adverse, it's not like you can wait around for an hour for an RAC man to turn up in a little van) it appears that I will not be going to one of our call centres in India to launch ( Read more... ) -

More snow today, not driven the Passat since before Christmas now and really glad we've got the Freelander. Basinstoke roads are passable with care for the most part and I've made it in to work but Rach is having less fun with the trains ( Read more... ) -
