Somehow, I was expecting it to be higher...I'll console myself with the fact that I knew most of the LOTR trivia.

Ugh...I've been so busy, mostly with the proposal for generals. I've been trying to get up at 4 or 5 every morning so that I can have a few hours of uninterrupted time to work. It's working fairly well, but I can't always make myself get out of bed after just 6 hours of sleep. Plus, I end up being REALLY tired towards the end of the day...

You have no idea (well, maybe you do) how good it feels to get up early in the morning and see notes from people who care after you've had a rough day the day before. Thanks, everyone. Maybe I should've gotten into this thing sooner.

Er...apologies to the person whose comment I realized existed only a day ago--obviously, I haven't quite figured my way around the system yet. Incidentally, anyone know how you make your post a link to the actual post, so you don't spam your friends with, say, a bunch of quiz results or something?

Yesterday I went up to Harvard to look at a windtunnel there with my advisor, and we spent quite a bit of time discussing flight with the flight people.

Let me summarize one conversation:

Advisor: "Turkeygirl, why don't you tell them about the project you've been planning to do for your thesis."
