I can only assume that by *turn my head to you and tears out of my eyes* he actually meant *turn my head to you and tear out my eyes*.

On account of being creepy beyond all measure and all.

Naw, he just doesn't have a firm grasp of English (obviously). It should be:

*Turns my head to you and tears come out of my eyes*

His name is Kai (or at least looks like Kai a lot) and from my understanding, he was a member of SARPA and the Women's Center. For a short while, he went to the LGBTA (but later stopped). I don't know how he is doing now.

I know because before I left UB, unfortunately, he tried IM'ing me and tried to set up a coffee date. Constantly. I was always busy, or "busy", and sadly resorted to one-syllable or word responses as well. It got to the point where I had to block him. He is, to this date, the only person I ever had to block on my AIM. The weird thing, I think anyways, is that after I had him blocked for easily over six months, I unblocked him thinking that he would have forgotten me. But that wasn't the case.

I still see him when I visit UB, but it is a very polite "Hi!" and the raised eye-brow thing that people 'kindly' give to each other and then briskly walk away.

He is a nice guy. Just low self esteem, too shy and clingy (as you found out). Oh well.

Also, it seems you're not the only one. If I am not mistaken, the individual in the Opinions portion of the Spectrum yesturday (Tues) also commented that someone ("Kai Bih") tried being friends, but he had no idea who it was. I think this is the same person, but may be wrong.

by no means can i call myself a social butterfly, so i understand the drawbacks to being a bit shy -- but it's hard to have sympathy for a dude whose screen name is a whole big allegory for stabbing people's butts with his penis. that crosses the line from endearingly shy to just plain creepy. so yeah, i understand that he's probably just a profoundly lonely dude who has no idea how to solve said problem but...maaaannn...
