Ugh, one night when I was in the Gaslamp district, the Diebros were partyin' to a cover band playing "Great Balls of Fire" without a piano player... it was all so wrong.

well, for one thing, they're not ALL college bro's here. We have those. But in ADDITION to those, we have semi-professional young men who are still bro-y and super aggressive and disrespectful and horrible. So it's multiple generations.
The decent guys I have met are usually from other COUNTRIES or states, or, Aaron.

Mortgage bro is way, way worse than bro-ish college kid, yeah. Some of the kids grow out of it. The banker bro dudes have grown INTO it.

Any other night of the year its the Bros, but for this 4 day period downtown becomes Bizzaro world and nerds shall rule supreme.

The only unfortunate part (serious now) is a small but definite portion of the younger ones, socially stinted and let off mommy's apron strings think its funny to harass the homeless.

Aaron and I were discussing this, and he's actually concerned for some of the younger, less experienced nerdgirls. Because they might get targeted by the bro's, and think that is all hot shit, and hook up or get G'd or K'd or roofied and date raped, because "all bro's secretly want the nerdgirls" or so Aaron says.

The ones old enough to hit the clubs travel in packs, after a bit someones [fill in health condition] is triggered by too many people in a club/alcohol and they all go back to the hotel for room partys and to the secret relief of everyone that they are back in the warm embrace of there own kind. Its kinda like a polar bear swim, its all fun and games in a group but everyone is looking for a reason to say "fuck this".
