I was in the mail room when he casually wandered in, slapped the picture on the counter and started admiring it for the 50th time. When I failed to comment on this, he said, "do you want to know what these pedals do?"

He needs this one. Boutique pedals are important. It's made by a local guy here (who evidently works where I work in my secret day job -- I've had to hide around corners, to avoid being spotted and having my cover blown). I don't actually like him, but it's a good pedal.

he has some kind of pedal they don't make anymore, but as soon as he told me the name of it, that space in my brain was immediately reclaimed by other stuff. I have no idea. I would send him that link, but god knows he would never shut up then!
