Well, my Dad hijacked my Ural to contribute to local rescues and I haven't seen either of them for hours. They'll be fine, though. That bike is built for wars and rough terrain, and Dad can be pretty badass when he wants to be. Except for my boyfriend missing, we're fine here.

Oh and, the burning building is the Telecom Center.

I'm fine over here, Ash.. Are you doing okay? What about your family? This type of thing... It's scary not to be able to do anything to stop it. I don't like this feeling of helplessness...

Thank god you're okay! I'm at home [he means in Australia]; I feel even more helpless... I got through to Megumi-nee and tousan and they're fine; they say that kaasan [a nurse] is really backed up at the hospital.

Yeah, I wish I could do something more than throwing money at it and reTweeting every bit of info that comes my way, but... I know I'd just be useless even if I could get to Japan right now.
