The dude on the left is Anderson Cooper (which I know because I have an enormous "you're on the t.v. box" crush on him and would recognize his photo anywhere.

The other is Lisa Ling. She started on "Channel 1." It is (was?) a news broadcast for high schoolers. Excelsior showed it because they had a t.v. in every classroom. (Good ole St.L. didn't have that shit!)

There's something worse going on. The '"Planet in Peril" brand' as CNN called it is doing so well that they're doing all their environmental reporting under it. And now all their scientific and technical reporting is getting lumped in with that. They fired their NASA correspondent the other day for that reason.
