Posting 60 Lost icons from the episode "Every Man For Himself." Mostly Sawyer, as it was a Sawyer-centric episode, but really there's icons of every character.

-Screencaps taken from www.lost-media.com
-Comments would be amazing! I've tried new techniques with these icons so I'd like to see what you think of them. Plus, I'm always looking for ( Read more... )

Thank you so much!

Jack/Juliet (both together and individually) have been really growing on me so I had to dedicate icons to them!

I'm so glad you think they are original AND well-made. Usually my originally tends to end up in sucky icons.

Thanks so much!

I love the color and composition of #1, but you may want to make sure "constrain proportions," is selected when you change the size of images--the right side of the icon looks like that may have been unchecked..Love the manip in 5. I really like what you'v e done on 11, 12, 26, & 58. Love the textures/brushwork on those. I use brushes for two reasons only--
1. it is used to draw the eye to a specific place on the icon

sorry i keep frakking up my reply--

COLORING-you need to find a general coloring to your icons..something that can be your own trademark so to say. It kind of adds a nice uniformaty to your work, and make your work recognizable to others. (although this is not always the case-if you have certain icons you want a certain feel to tweaking the color could be the key)

I have a few tuts on coloring that really helped me--

No, I don't care about you "frakking up." lol.

In fact, I really wanted to thank you for taking your time to give me tips! I'll really try to take what you said to heart, though I don't really have an eye for these things (like when to use negative space, etc.), but I'll try!

I know I definitely need to find a general coloring aspect, but I always find that people will find those boring since cropping isn't always my strong-suit. I'll work on that too and I'll check out those links.

Thanks a lot, really! :)
