I'm glad you liked this! Haha yeah I keep mixing the two up :P After writing so many canon fics, it's fun to do a little AU, but then I always feel the need to throw in some real life stuff. And I think part of me believes the whole idea of reincarnation to an extent. It's nic knowing that out there, somewhere, there's someone who is meant to be with you ^^

I remember writing something similar in a couple of my stories, in what feels like a lifetime ago. I used the greek concept though, in which Zeus created man as a being with four hands and feet, but only one heart, and then later to keep mankind subservient to him, he rips their joint hearts from their bodies and splits in two and they are left to an eternity of suffering, doomed to wonder the earth in such of their heart, to finally be one.
It is so amazing to see this angle of it. I am completely in awe. I love the whole aspect of searching for that piece of his soul and living so many lifetimes together, even if they had to be apart. I feel sorry for Kyu but at the same time I think he is lucky. He knows him and knows his heart, has these memories that he can hold on to, but at the same time to love someone so much and be apart must be hell....\
So excited for the next part!! I must thank Arvy I guess..lol

I actually based the whole idea off that - the fact that Zeus split everyone up and they have to wander the earth trying to find their other half. But since it doesn't seem to work quite as well if you consider the male/male relationship (since technically, male/female = a whole), I figured I'd adapt that slightly and make it into soulmates instead :P
Yes! That's the kind of idea I wanted to go for - where he thinks he's lucky that he remembers, but where he hates it sometimes. Especially since Jongwoon is within reach, but not really his because he doesn't remember :/
