Cell phones for kids
Does anyone know of some good reasonibly priced cell phones for kids. Actually I need two cell phones. One for my kids and one for me. Yes it's true I don't have a cell phone. I want to be able to get ahold of my kids when I need to and vise versa. This phone is purely for safety reasons too. Any thoughts on the firefly type cell phones? -

When you were a kid was there a cartoon movie that made you sad/cry? For me it was (and still is) The Fox and the Hound. It was on the Disney channel a couple of weeks ago and I get choked up and cry when I watch it or just hear it.

I'm nervous!
Don't tell my husband though. Tomorrow he is going to have laser eye surgery done. He had wanted it for a while now but was unsure about the results. Finally he has either decided he waited long enough or that the technology is good enough for him. I'm supportive but nervous. It's such a big thing to be done to your eyes! So much stress. I hate all this stress because it's messing with my healthy eating habits. I have failed miserably on WW since Christmas time. Some how I haven't gained too much weight but it's still a gain and I hate to gain. I start to get into the "why am I doing this? I should just eat what ever" frame of mind and then I get depressed. How lame is it to talk about the weather? Well I'm going to do just that. I am so happy the weather is so much nicer today. Last night I went out side just to enjoy the cool air. I sure missed that. Tonight is back to school night!
My son was doing so well this school year. He's in fourth grade now. It's only been two weeks but it's been two great weeks. Last year was a night mare compared to now. He's been really responsible and reliable too. That is until I found out that he hasn't been completely truthful about reading. He was saying it was for extra credit. I called him ( Read more... ) -

I love hot chocolate. It makes me feel like starting a fire and snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie or read a good book. It seems to give me a calm and relaxed feeling. I miss it. I desperately need some hot chocolate. That is all. -
It's been a long time
I have been pretty busy lately. As a quick recap both of my kids are in school now. I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of school paper! Two kids at the same school and I get double paper on the same thing. They have a lot of homework too. I managed to lose my daughters homework last week.
