Writer's Block: Eat, Drink, Be Merry
One thing I can't stomach is candied yams/sweet potatoes. I like yams and sweet potatoes fine if they're baked or served some other way, but candied just makes me ill.

Interesting! Elizabeth Dole's official senate website is either down or experiencing heavy traffic. I was going to leave my opinion of the ad her campaign for NC Senator made against her opponent, Kay Hagan. I used to have a lot of respect for Dole... no more. Wonderful salad
So today I ate at the "Five-Star Family Restaurant" in Danville. Now, I didn't really expect a 5-star meal at a restaurant that calls itself "Five-Star", but it was a pretty decent place to eat anyway. I had a fantabulous Grecian Salad. Troubled
Yeah... I'm troubled. Troubled about politics, troubled about the direction some of my conservative Christian friends seem to be going, troubled about personal relationships, ...troubled. If I knew how to play the guitar, I'd write a blues song about it. -

Thinking about the economy
I've been watching the debate. Actually, both candidates are making some good points. I tend to agree with more of Obama's ideas than McCain's, but I don't think either one is making any particularly ridiculous statements, and that's a relief.
