my dear turtleyurtle, I'm so so sorry for you, I wish things could have turned out differently, and honestly, all I can say is that the first school is going to miss out on so much by not having you there. I hope you feel better! ♥

and if you ever need help with Chinese or anything, my Chinese is in no way perfect, but I'd be more than willing to give you tips or something! I do live in China, after all :)

HEY. I didn't know this about you xD; That's awesome. I may try to Ni hao at you once or twice. Hahah.

I hope this post didn't worry you O_o; it was just some freak accident of life on me. Haha.

I just, sometimes work myself up into "gr" or nerves lol. I mean I'm upset, but I needed this out of my system and then I feel better~

DO YOU LIKE IT IN CHINA.

I'VE ONLY BEEN TO SINGAPORE AND MAYLASIA. And Japan by only the airport that doesn't count.

Hell, if you could tell me things about china in general, that'd make my day, because besides buying books, it's hard to get people to blog about it, or whatever. There are tons of blogs about Japan, but way less about China. Or that I've found.

...Do you like Khalil Fong? I think he's cute and I like that one song about being enough or whatever. ♥

Red Cliff is one of my favorite movies. I love chinese films.

xD; /nerdddd

你好! :)
just out of curiosity, are you Chinese? or Asian?
and living in China is pretty cool! I really hated it when I first moved here, but now I actually really like in Shanghai, which is pretty urban and developed compared to other places in China, and that's one of the reasons why I don't think I could stand going to a college in the middle of nowhere now, I need a city or something nearby!

ooh yes, do you like Chinese music? I actually really like it, it's all very calm and soothing, I don't think Chinese artists are really capable of producing heavy rock or anything. I mean can you imagine Chinese heavy metal? :\

hm, I'm not sure what to really say about China... just ask me whatever you want! ♥

No, haha. I'm biracial- white/hispanic. My family moved to singapore when I was about 5 or so, and I lived there for a little while. I was supposed to learn mandarin, but I didn't get very far because we had to move back to the states.

It was all so cool to me, because singapore is nothing but city, and I still miss just snagging a cab or whatever. Haha. And I especially miss Chinese New Years.

I realize that makes me weird, but yeah. xD; Living there really influenced me, even though I was little. I mean, I watched Sailor Moon in Japanese with Chinese subs. Haha, going back and watching it in english I was like "WHOA."

IswearI'mnotaweeaboI mean I guess I'm really into culture and art and music and everything east asia, but you have to realize I had this big obsession with the ancient West/africa for like ever too so...I'm just a nerd. xD ( ... )

This is gonna seem totally random (I found your "Mild-Mannered-Shipper" banners from capslock_atla and it kind of went from there) and I know you're probably going to be really wigged out that some random chick is commenting on your post.

The thing is, something very, very similar happened to me. Granted, my parents aren't divorced, but their income combined should top six figures -- until you factor in all the debt. I played by all the rules, I worked myself to a complete nervous breakdown over the four years of high school, I took the ACT five times, I took the SAT, I submitted the papers and emailed the schools and even, at one point, called upon a friend on LJ who knew someone who worked at one of the schools to please help me get things worked out.

I ended up at a low-level school in a crappy town in the middle of nowhere, majoring in something I had no desire to do, and eventually had to withdraw after only a year and a half because it all just sucked. So, yeah -- you're most certainly not alone ( ... )

Friending is cool, I don't mind creepers. I rather like them, in fact. I think I only have two friends on here who have ever met me irl and only AFTER we met online, and so I tend to keep it that way. If that makes sense O_o; Not that I don't love my friends irl it's just I try to seperate the two pretty hard for lj. mostly because once in a blue moon I write pron and that's just awkward Yeha idk ( ... )

I understand. I've got a couple of irl friends on my LJ, but that's because they're into fandom too, so it's not so awkward.

It was Troy University, which is about an hour south of Montgomery, AL. I mean, the school itself wasn't so bad (although the town was awful), it was just all wrong for me.
