OVFF was a blast. Thank you to everybody involved in the making and execution of OVFF. Great job! Also, thanks to everyone that had to lie or omit truths on the account of the surprise we planned for him.It was well worth the look on his face when he saw us. I'm very much looking forward to the next time.

Listening to me? It's so hard for me to conceive of other musicians who are so much more talented than I am taking much pleasure in doing that. But I hope you do, in fact, enjoy it.

It was great to see and talk with you and trystel this past weekend. I hope the, um, subject matter of my Iron Filker entry wasn't too disappointing for you; that was not the best testimony I could have put forward.

I appreciate Taunya's enthusiasm. There were a lot of other great songs in the contest, though. Either the quality of filk songwriting is rising (which I'd like to think), or the number of less-talented songwriters signing up for the contests is falling.
