Thursday night we lost power due to the storm we had that night. I actually saw the tree fall onto our power lines. It happened fairly soon after the storm started so I says to myself "Good, Now we should be one of the first ones to get power back...." We got our power back this mornig. What's today? Last week was tough with all the snow and the kids home all day. You never appreciate school until you have two kids in the house bugging you for three days straight. Tommy took and passed his driving test today. We've been teaching him how to drive in the last year but only in the last couple of months with a car with manual transmission. It took him a while to get used to it but I finally feel comfortable letting him drive by himself. I let him drive to town by himself while I followed in my car with Gracie in ( Read more... )

OVFF was a blast. Thank you to everybody involved in the making and execution of OVFF. Great job! Also, thanks to everyone that had to lie or omit truths on the account of the surprise we planned for him.It was well worth the look on his face when he saw us. This summer has been so hectic so far that I have not had time to appreciate all that we've done. Now that I look back and think about it I see what an awesome time it has been so far. I played with our church's band for the first time last night. We had three songs and it went ok as first times go. I was a bit off in the
begginning of the first song but really got in to it after that. The second song went great, it was one I really like and is very easy to play
