have you tried other pressed foccacias? or actually, any other sandwich pressed (with or without cheese, with cheese is slightly better, although you'll feel a bit more stuffed)? i went through this phase where i only ate pressed sandwiches, i even went far enough to shop for a sandwich press ($30 for a small one). i didn't end up buying it because then i would have to buy twenty thousand different sandwich fillings.
I have decided that my favourite pressed sandwiches are (on turkish): - vegetarian or - pesto, sundried tomatoes, capsicum, eggplant, cheese
Oh for sure. I like it on Turkish bread too. I have a favourite melt that I buy from Jamaica Blue that's on turkish bread.
The problem is I'm too picky so I don't try everything. But if I find one I like, I like it a lot. See, I don't like vegeterian cos I always like meat in my sandwiches (no beef) and I don't like most vegetables ie. eggplant or capsicum. And I don't really like pesto. So... yes I can be a very hard person to feed.
