So on our company intranet, there is a small section dedicated to listing the names of people each time they reach a five-year anniversary.  An example would be John Smith, 10 years.  If you click on their names, their picture comes up and you can see what they look like.

About 2 months ago, I bought an XBOX 360.  I generally play it several times a week, and have two games: Culdcept and Pro Evolution Soccer (PES).

I found that I play PES 90% of the time and Culdcept only 10% of the time....

As a Christmas present to myself, I bought an ASUS Eee 900HA netbook.  I first saw it at a retail store in Melbourne.  I was just looking around the electronics section and the tiny computer caught my eye.  And I was surprised to see that it only cost $500 Aussie dollars.  Thats only about USD$300!!  However, I had never heard of the ASUS brand, so ( Read more... )

We're leaving the U.S. in less than a week for a vacation to Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia.  And I have to get all my work done plus finish up my final paper for a class by Wednesday.   Taking vacation is never easy!

Lately, I feel myself drawn to go back to Meiji and Nara Lounge again and again.  Meiji is a modern (Americanized) sushi restaurant and Nara Lounge is a very traditional Korean lounge.  Both are in the same building just a block from where we live and both are owned by the same person.  They are almost interchangeable in that you can order across ( Read more... )

Just for the record, I want to say that being able to walk from home to my downtown Chicago office in ten minutes is AWESOME!!!!!

 We did it!!! We closed on our first home! Woohoo!!! Fulton River District, here we come!!!

Today, I watched the movie "The Andromeda Strain" and thought that it was great!
