So, the local radio announced this morning that homophobic football chants are to be outlawed as of next season.
Presumably though Catholic supporters will want to exempt themselves from this.

In the meantime I have amended my organ donor card, which now bears the proud legend "NO CATHOLICS" in Tippex across the bottom.

One wonders how they're going to enforce this. Still, let's hope it gains traction and takes off.

Well here's the article on it in the Guardian online:

which seems to imply it's going use the same framework as racist chanting. Let's hope it works.

(I now have to do some damage control after accidentally doing a search for "homoophobic chanting" on Amazon.co.uk rather than Guardian Online. You can tell its an exciting Friday afternoon at work! My Favourites list might never recover!)
