it is snowing in tokyo... i think it has been snowing all night. there is something about snow that just makes me smile... it also puts songs like 'it's beginning to look a lot like christmas' in my head.

i don't know why.

even japanese seem fascinated. but i guess when you have to live with it, get snowed in or whatever... slip on icy paths, it loses it's lustre.

i keep looking out the window!
i like how the news keep going live to reporters who basically say, 'there's lots of snow here in (saitama), ' and repeating the same stock footage of people with umbrellas, people shovelling snow, and kids throwing snowballs. riveting stuff.
by the way, maybe we should postpone tonight's plan? i don't want to get stuck anywhere if the trains stop, and it's bloody freezing..

me too... it is nice to look out side and see everything covered in snow- although, it has now stopped snowing.

i think the reaction tokyo people have to snow is so entertaining, in sapporo- over night there would be at least a metre of new snow piled up...people would need to get it off their roof to avoid collapse.

today- there were people shoveling tiny little piles of snow out the way of their front doors, even people hosing the snow to melt it... hilarious!

as for tonight- do you really think we'll get stuck? if you want to make it another night, it is fine with me.
