across the road from my work is an official looking defense force building... the guards at the entrance gate have rifles if that's any indication of how official it is. at 5pm everyday they play a chime/bell to tell everyone that it is 5pm (supposedly this is common in japan and i'm sure it's a well known tune ( Read more... )

tonight i went to see cirque du soleil because of my job. my co worker fell asleep half way through and at the 30 minute interval we left. i picked coming back to work over sitting through the second half of the show. granted updating livejournal doesn't actually count as work ( Read more... )

there are two big green leafy trees near my office. today people (i presume council people) came and cut off all of the green leafy tree branches. it wasn't a "trim" everything but the main tree stump and smaller tree branch stumps are... gone ( Read more... )

Today I got up bright and early to attend our companies annual stockholders meeting. At the request of my boss the IT guy and me had to go. We didn’t have to do anything except be there.
