Holiday weekends are always times when emergency rooms are crowded. It sucks, but people do random, dangerous things when they have more time, and therefore end up in the emergency room :P.

I really hope you're feeling better soon; it sucks having undiagnosed pain. Hopefully you get a better doctor if you have to go in again, although I really hope you don't have to.

There were some weirdos in there. My mom and I sat right next to the registration booth and kept looking at each other wondering why some of these people were staying when they were being told "you're looking at a 4 hour wait to see a doctor - are you SURE you want to be here today?" when they had minimal problems. Like the guy who should have gone to see his family doctor (we think he probably was after free drugs or something), or some of the over anxious mothers who brought their kids in with silly problems....

Ah well. Oddly enough I woke up this morning and the pain's gone. It's done this before, though, only to flair up at night again, so I'm not calling an all clear with my family (who gave me heck last night for A) not telling them any of this sooner and B) shrugging it off...whcih I did at their house, even though I myself was very disapointed in the response i'd been given) until I see what happens tonight.

Haha, I was going to make a post about that... but in case you miss it - it was driving me insane when went to bed last night, but I managed to get some sleep. Woke up today and the pain is gone! It's kinda strange... but it's done this before, then flaired up at night agian, so I'm waiting till tonight to see what happens before deciding not to call my family doctor and giving my family an update (my dad's side of the family gave me heck for not telling them about all these ER visits sooner, and told me I HAD to go get a second opinion, yadda yadda yadda, so...)
