I told you this on the phone, but I think you are wrong to have so little hope for Peeta. I grant you that it is entirely possible that he won't survive. All things considered, there are possibly more scenarios in which he dies, but I don't think you should give up. I don't think that Suzanne Collins is that predictable. Or at all predictable. I actually don't feel that I could even begin to speculate on what is going to happen. Part of that may be dread of where that takes me ( ... )

1. Yes, Katniss really should have gotten the whole herself/mockingjay as figurehead of the rebellion thing. I missed more clearheaded Katniss of the first book. Torn/emotional Katniss is still awesome, but a bit less in the brilliant department ( ... )
