Ok, so I read The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Finished it today, in b n_n But, it's pretty much the same thing over and over. It's just a man and a boy who tries to survive, I think, after a nuclear winter. Remember those things back in US History where it was the US vs the USSR? Or was it Cuba? I for one, found the book to be a phenominal juxtaposition between utter devestation and the transcendent beauty of innocence and hope. Like the man knew, the boy was his life, his heart, his soul and symbolic of the hope for the survival of mankind.
