I'm so glad that you were able to get the book!

I have a ever expanding list of costuming books that I want for christmas! and that is yet another one on my list! :)

Abe books is a great website... you can look for books with there ISB?? number so if you can find that information it's really easy to find the book...

and your welcome!

would you like to Friend?

Hello!

I was referred to you by miss angelikfiona when I asked her if she knew anyone that could sew me a skirt without charging me an arm and a leg.

I'd be interested in talking to you about something I REALLY want to have made in my size that is fairly simple. The only thing is, she mentioned me having to buy the material and I honestly wouldn't know the first thing. I'm happy to pay for it, of course, and the work... I would just have no clue how much to get or if the materials would be right or not... I sew dolly clothes by hand - that's where my sewing 'expertise' ends *giggles*

So, if I don't sound like too much of a pest, please message me or let me know where I might speak to you and send an image of the skirt and my measurements so we can get an idea of costs, please :)

Thank you, kindly!

At this time I'm very booked up, and can't take on any commission work. I'm sorry. My alteration business has taken off very quickly and I'm having a hard time keeping up. Custom clothing is my passion and my heart, but as you say, I don't charge very much. I draft all my own patterns to measurements, and do all the sewing myself. So doing custom work takes me quite a long time.
When I started work for Sue, time and money weren't an issue, but unfortunately now it is. I wish I could do the work for you, I hope that you will be able to find someone to do it soon. Good Luck!

Oh! hooray! a new friend!

I've got costume stuff on here, general sewing, friends and family stuff, cooking, and crafts... it's kinda a grab bag of my life. I don't do filters so it's a all or nothing kind of thing!

enjoy, and embrace the ridiculous that is my life!

I'm not a collector of dolls... but I enjoy seeing anything hand made... so no worries, if you post something creative I would happily read it!

Oh! I'd love to be friends... Although, sometimes I'm funnier than others... Just like anyone! I try to keep it real.

This journal is mostly sewing... Although family stuff pops up... and work gripes... and just general things that amaze, amuse, and horrify me...

Welcome to my journal.
