Can we be friends? You still in Vegas? You still do any lolita stuff? Our tiny local community is starting to do meetups! (I work at Joanns - you gave me your card once!)
Uh... I think you're under the impression that I know what I'm doing.... Nope. I'm just winging it. It's a finely crafted skill that I call winging it. Mostly educated guesses. And if not, it's a process of trial and error.
But I have a network of very talented and creative friends both in real life and here on lj... That being said I will happily help you with my educated opinion.
By the way... I read some of your journal! And you sooooo don't need my help! You are very talented! :)
Oh good! I'm doing regency right now... Only just finished... Round gown, transitional stays, and an open robe. It was fun! Some friends and I are going to a Jane Austin dance... We'll be having tea first! I'm very excited! My next project will be vintage bathing suits. (1930-1950) one piece specifically. I've done one mockup... Time to change the pattern and get the next mockup going! Eventually I'm hoping to make a pattern line to sell on etsy... It's quite surprising how little of a selection of bathing suit patterns there are. That might or might not happen... it all depends how my experience goes. As far as my journal goes.... It's a bit of a mashup. Lots of sewing... Lots of life stuff too. No filters so you've got to take it all or nothing. It's nice to have a new friend!
