Wow, I completely know what you're talking about. That's what happened with my best friend after she started dating her boyfriend. She blew me off five weeks in a row, so I said "fuck it, I'm not trying anymore," and now she wants to hang out with me (keep in mind that I went through six months of her randomly blowing me off). I guess she finally realized that having a significant other doesn't mean that you don't need anyone else. Hopefully your friend will come to that realization too. :(

yeah... it crazy how that happends. thats why i never put bf's infront of friends is because i know how exactly i would feel if my best friend did that to me ::this situation is an example:: im glad your friend came to the realization. im not to sure about if chuck will or not. i think months will go by and he just going to take me not calling as it my fault that were not friends or that im the one that left us. i dont think he would see it from my perspective. though its a little obvious in how he like almost refuses to call me. were you the one that tried to get back in contact with her after a while, or just out of random did she call you?

I know exactly how you feel, you can ask anyone that knows me, I have never ditched a friend for a guy. Especially for this friend I'm talking about. I'm usually seeing someone, and she was just getting over a break up and I always dropped everything just to be there for her. So it really disappointed me that I became second to her boyfriend, or when we hang out (the three of us), she's always all over him and they make out in front of me ( ... )

mann that sucks. you can only do so much though, what you did is something i would do, keep on trying to keep in touch while they put little to no effont in at all. in the end we end up wasting much energy and caring-ness to people who waste nothing at all. then again i guess its not a waste on our parts consitering it shows that we are loyal to our friends.. it just sucks because it hurt to actually know you care more about that person than they do you ( ... )
