On Sympathy Cards and White Legs

In the days following my mother's death, I was, as is customary in these situations, inundated with sympathy cards, some from people I haven't seen or spoken to in over twenty years (two came from people who acknowledged neither David's death nor my father's). A cruise sounds like a wonderful way to relax and treat yourself. Even if it's the sort of vacation you wouldn't normally take, now is a great time to do it.

I agree Van. And I didn't mention that I have a job lined up, beginning the first full week of April, so now or never ... (or ... well, at least, not for a while ...)

There are decent - yet pricey - bronzers you can get at cosmetic counters in finer department stores. They should do the trick...

Most of your fellow passengers willl have legs as white as yours. Anyway, pale is this year's tan.
