As some can see, my website has been down for a while. This was unintentional, and I really hope I get access back to it as soon as possible. Wacom
I am SO buying this baby: Wacom Intuos3 A4. My old Intuos2 is just too old, feeble and weak. It can no longer satisfy my demands. -
Sketches
My website is down again, I'm afraid I simply can't upload some of the sketches I've made. I'm back on track with sketching - taking the route of looking at books and getting my anatomy down from there. Who knows, people say it works. In any case, copying sketches from art books will only give me the practice I think I lack by not using a model. -
Art journal
I'm making an art journal! Well, it's an art planner, really; I want to give each day a dose of art to do. It give me something to do without needing to spend time thinking about it ( Read more... ) -
Squeeze
I caught myself on the thought that I have to squeeze concepts out of my head to get them down on paper. I sketch without thinking about what the sketch means. Perhaps everyone does this; I, however, don't know this, so it keeps me thinking ( Read more... ) -
Expansion of uses
I decided to expand my journal here into something more. More pictures, more personal writing. It'll be more than my art blog - because I want my art and my private thoughts to be separate. Audrey Beardsley is one of my favourite masters in terms of ink graphical work. His lines are slender, his bodies are full and elegant. He makes masterful use of negative space.
