This is an exert from my Summer 2005 Notebook to Jamie (with some minor additions and changes). I wrote it this morning while my girls were still asleep and decided I'd post it on LiveJournal to try to portray my feelings about leaving camp as it was happening.

It's weird that last night was our first night away from camp in so long... the past few days have dragged on so much that it feels like much longer. Which is great I guess. I've only been at camp for about 10 days and I feel like I've been gone for about a month. It's been really tough and the kids have only been here since Wednesday.
