you are seriously so lucky to have gone there &visit with people/children who are so loving &grateful i would love to one day go there. the pictures look beautiful &the people look happy ♥
there are just so many places around the world to help people living in poverty / with sickness, especially with the tsunami victims. i'm going to another province in China this october or november for the same cause again <3<3
though they seem so fortunate with all the joy in their lives, i really wouldn't adapt well if i have to fully submerge myself into their livestyle. their standard of living is appalling with the unhygenic environment and the foul smells emitting from the nearby sewage drains weaving through the courtyard as well as the lack of proper medical care and all the other luxuries we take for granted. it is really so sad to know that there are still people in this world living in actually worse conditions than the group of children i have seen.
wish i went to somewhere like that too... its so true about what u said about city peepz.... y'kno i kinda discovered the total difference when i was jap as well.. when i was in narita.. the ppl were like so polite and everyth itz like if i just accidently touched them as i walked past them in malls... they'd immediately say sorrie.. like real fast and everyth..faster than me =.= itz amazing**
but then at harajuku.. or shinjuku.. its seriously another story...... --janz

man i seriously wanna go back to ECarr and DouglasP... XP cant believe i havent been back for 5 years already....
leaving for UK! US is really out of my league with all the SAT1 and SAT2 exams. douglas and QE, absolutely breathtaking, there is seriously too little green spots in hk. i still hafn't found which plaque (on the benches) is mine, i remember having made one of them in grade 2, but i never found it.
the scenery is amazing, when you look down at the rice fields and wood huts from high above, it really seems as though it was taken from a magazine. once you get up close to the actual villages, walk inside them, it really is a completely different feeling where there is rancid air and animal feces littering the ground.
