Alright, on his behalf, Alexander is teething AND he has a stuffy nose...but SHEESH!  The tantrums are getting annoying! I love that Alexander can now say yes and no (and mean what he says.)  And I love that his sign language is cruising along. I'm very behind on my posts.
About 3 weeks ago, Alexander found Gary's wallet within reach.  He scooped it up, then announced, "Da'y."
He ran with it calling "Da'y!  Da'y!" then finally handed it over to Dadd'n once he found him.

Now he is madly in love with Da'y and loves to be carried by him everywhere.

So here I am at a conference miles and miles from my kids.  It's been 3 nights.  I'm doing okay.  I can't wait to see them tonight.

Ellie's trying to color all by herself so she explained to Alexander, "It's only for big girls, and you're just a boy, so...you just can't do it."
"Dar, " said Alexander and walked away.
I still can't believe that worked.

....P.S. Alexander just showed up with a proud smile, carrying Ellie's baby doll.  You go, guy!

Ellie explained to me that she think's she's done with daycare.  She's ready for fighting school now.  I told her that she'd better wait until maybe she's in kindergarten at least ( Read more... )

Ellie had a yellow balloon for a month or so.  It was mostly deflated.  She just accidentally popped it today.  Now she's carrying it around the house, sorrowfully announcing, "It's dead.  My balloon is dead."

Is she expecting a funeral?  It's not going to happen.

Ellie very politely asked for some cookies, so I complimented her in front of Alexander. 
"Nice job!  Ellie is so nice and polite."
"Ha!" said Alexander.

Certain groups that say they're fine with Jews...but then schedule their events on Jewish Holidays...?  Not really encouraging for Jewish people to join. I understand the cluelessness factor, but if you go out of your way to say you're Jewish friendly, you might want to check a calendar when scheduling events.
