Just the basic facts

I got pulled over tonight. I wasn't doing anything wrong but they were looking for a black honda that was involved in a "rock throwing incident." When he asked to see my registration, though, I had nothing for him. My car isn't even legal in Texas anymore. He let me go but as he was giving me my warning("if I see you driving this car again..") Hi Megan - I haven't seen you on the SAS forum for a while. I hope you get over these things soon. I enjoy your writing - you are very talented. I hope you find a way to get other people to recognise your gifts and provide you with a way to earn a living. Life might look crappy at the moment, but it can improve - it might be hard to believe that right now, but it's true.
I admire the way you can talk about masturbation so openly and honestly. I hope that doesn't freak you out, coming from a middle-aged fart like me.

Thank you for the kind words, Mike.

"I haven't seen you on the SAS forum for a while."
I'm too hot for SAS to handle AKA I was banned. See: atheist thread. It's not a loss, though I've been posting there for over 2 years, because every other thing I said was censored anyway. Plus, quite frankly, that place has just become corrupt. So much drama for a fucking social anxiety disorder support forum. It's just.. insipid. We're pondering a new forum and I'll be sure to invite you when it's up and running..

I don't know what kind of advice to give you, other than going the way of Hunter S Thompson is not the answer. Other than that, I completely sympathize. You've just got to find some kind of job you enjoy going to and where there are tolerable people.

I agree with Mike. Sometimes I start thinking my life is going nowhere, but then I realize most people's lives are going nowhere. Whether they worry about it to the extent we do, I don't know, but I know plenty of people struggle early on in life to find a place in their lives where they are happy. You're 23 and a lot can change in a few years. As for your writing, I think you could publish something really great. I don't know of anything out there that would resemble what you would have to say. Seriously. What is out there? So don't think it's a pipe dream.

For what it's worth, I think you're important. I think you count. When I add up the people in my life who I think count and matter, you do. Even if I'm a self-consumed bastard most of the time.

"I don't know of anything out there that would resemble what you would have to say."
And there's a reason for that.

"For what it's worth, I think you're important. I think you count. When I add up the people in my life who I think count and matter, you do."
Hopefully your life will fall apart again and you'll rejoin me in CA... I mean.. hopefully our paths will cross once more.
