What does the phrase "stick to your knitting" mean to you?

Hmmmm, I would think "mind your own business".

That salmon recipe sounds delicious. Yum! I love salmon.

What does the phrase "stick to your knitting" mean to you?

Don't interfere in men's business.

Yeah. That was my initial reaction. Apparently its one of those 80s "In Search of Excellence" business terms that means focus on your core business and don't over-reach. Or so they claim. *is suspicious*

Never heard it before, but it seems to me that it would mean "mind your own business".

That's pretty much what it means. I may be a little oversensitive, because I took it to mean "get back in the kitchen."

Stick to your knitting is not a phrase I am familiar with, but it sounds like it would mean mind your own business/don't forget your place (especially to a woman).

Kings! I am definitely looking forward to more.

Mmm. Kings.

Stick to your knitting is apparently one of those 80s business terms that means you should focus on your core business and not expand too quickly. I thought it sounded extremely derogatory.
