Work is going very well! It's like the perfect job for me. I sit on my ass the entire day and just input data into the computer. And everything is so flexible. I can take my lunch anytime I want, for however long I want. I can take breaks without having to clock out. I have an optional Saturday shift if I want extra hours. It's just so ( Read more... )

So I'm sick, which is rare and of course it happens this week, of all weeks. Tomorrow I have a class at 9:30, but in this condition I won't be able to go. So I drive to my new "job" a few days ago, to fill out some employment paperwork, etc. I walk up to the door, and it's locked. So I called them, no answer. Got the job! It was weird though; I was expecting this big office with people typing away but it was a tiny office with nobody in it except the manager. He was a short guy too. Tomorrow I have a "typing test" interview at a Data Entry company. Kind of excites me! I've always wanted to do boring monotonous work; and that isn't even sarcasm. This would sure as hell beat a job like Office Max. Hopefully it works out.
