It's a long story. The job I got as a receptionist transitioned into a career as a scientist in a field that I had given no attention to academically, so I had to work long hours to "get in gear". I'm ready to start reflecting again, though. I read some of your recent posts... I don't remember you having the medical concerns before that you have now. =( **hug** I'll have to read backwards a little bit to catch up, and whatever happenned, I am so sorry to hear it. It's good to be in touch again.
I don't know if I can sum it up in an LJ comment, but I'll try to update soon. I'm still living in the same place, and the job where I started working as a receptionist morphed into a scientist opportunity that has me working hard to perservere. (Did I spell that right?) I have an awesome boyfriend that I'm pretty sure I'll be marrying someday. I've discovered a few things about myself that I'm working on. I've also paired down on lots of my extracuricular activities to focus on my job and my health... which has been necessary, but has also resulted in a feeling of loss. With all of that, I have plenty to write about, so it seemed like a good time to come back. Thank you for thinking of me. I drove through your neck of the woods, and I wondered how you were doing... I'd do a little reading to catch up, but if you want to give me the 5-cent summary, I'd love that too. **hug** I missed you.
