When you have a story that begs to be read living within the walls of your skull, you recoil and interrogate yourself. The stakes are strong and the outlook is suicidal because bets like that call for all surrounding eyes. Will the win be worth it?

I question my abilities as a writer too often that this year (and my resolution) has blown up in my face... 2017 is on pace to arrive and only a few pages have been written... The only way to see this book is to stop talking about it and actually make the effort to see it through... I have a story to tell and I know I have an audience that awaits its arrival. Time has a funny way of evoking emotion... Pain subsides... Life continues... We think we move on when really, we bury, preoccupy and distract... Apologies aren't enough and some replacements don't suffice... Some memories are scars that never fully heal.
