Tyki parked in front of the building and scanned the skyline. Fuck, there were Akuma here, too. he could see their irregular, bulbous shapes hanging here and there between the buildings.
As he stepped out of Hakuba's world-hopping car, one of the second-levels drifted towards him.

But he drew back after Zechs released his lips. "I can't truly blame you entirely," he allowed grudgingly.
Zechs was exactly right about how difficult this was and why. Tyki felt like he was falling, not in a moral way, but because he didn't know what to do with himself. He felt like he didn't know who he was.
"I don't know what I should do now," he said, but he knew immediately that it was a lie. There wasn't time for him to screw around, agonizing over this choice when he knew he'd already made it. "I'll come back when I'm certain that I've done as much as I can do on this world." The enormity of what he was promising to do was only now beginning to hit him. Plans were beginning to percolate through his mind, but he tried not to think too hard about it right now.
He needed to at least get started destroying Akuma, before they started breeding. Cross and his cousins, and all the other worlds could wait.
