Tyki parked in front of the building and scanned the skyline. Fuck, there were Akuma here, too. he could see their irregular, bulbous shapes hanging here and there between the buildings.

As he stepped out of Hakuba's world-hopping car, one of the second-levels drifted towards him.

Slowly, Zechs nodded, processing the information and devising contingency plans besides. Knowing the akuma weren't smart was helpful. Even if they did somehow know Tyki betrayed them, and if they somehow figured out who Zechs was, he was still confident he'd see through their ruse quickly. Just a few questions would likely be enough to figure out they were akuma - and his wits therefore were his only defense against them

Tyki kissed Zechs again, unable to help himself. He wished that Saguru were here as well, so that he would know that both of his lovers were safe in one place, but he was pretty sure that if there were Akuma in that world, they wouldn't be in a remote mountain town in Switzerland.

At least, they wouldn't be if the Earl weren't specifically targeting Tyki.

"I won't be gone long," he promised softly, then turned and strode the short way towards the door, his face set and grim.
