Just know that he needs you now, and that it's something you need to come to him about.
Entering into the apartment, he quickly shrugged off his jacket and walked in, forgetting to call out as he normally did. For all he knew, Tyki wasn't even there right now. He very much expected to walk into an empty room when he opened the door from the hallway.

But for some reason Zechs was home hours early, and Tyki had sunk far enough into his pain that he didn't even hear him coming.
He forced himself to straighten, to open his eyes. "I...I'm f..." He growled, tried to force the lie out. "Fffffffuck! I'm hurting, it won't stop!" he cried in mingled frustration and agony.

Damn this virus, he thought.
Not even knowing if he could touch his lover without causing more pain, he told Tyki, "Hold a moment." He wracked his mind. "I shall retrieve a potion, dear heart."
He was trying to think of anything he could do in this instant.

His gold eyes were a little wild as he looked at Zechs, but he struggled to try to calm down. His breathing was still rapid, at least partly from the fact that he had been so unprepared for Zechs to show up, and the virus made it impossible to reassure him.
"I'm sorry, you can't do anything. I didn't want to worry you," he babbled in the grip of the virus.

"I am worried," Zechs said, and winced again. He meant to say something else, of course; perhaps not a lie, per say, yet he was already moving on. Thinking, he struggled to find something reassuring to say, yet truthful. "You should not keep something like this to yourself, and suffer alone."
Was this not a recent event? How long had Tyki been experiencing this pain? ... Was this the something which was worrying Tyki, which Zechs had noticed long before? His gut twisted.
