Karla gave Kurt a smile, mostly recognizing him from class. "Well, I guess the first thing to do is lay out the ground rules. Is this a physical-only fight or are powers allowed? I'm a witch, so I have lots of Craft at my disposal, but not everyone has powers to use and even those that do sometimes just want a straight-up fight."
She gave Kurt a curious glance. "What shall it be? Shall we keep it powerless today?" Karla wasn't sure about this crop of newbies yet and figured the easiest way to handle them was to keep things simple.
