The Right to hate

Mar 30, 2008 22:29

It's been pissing me off lately that whenever I say I hate something, people say "You hate everything."  or "Well you don't understand that..." or "You hate it because it's trendy/ just because it's popular/ just to hate it."  or "You're closed-minded" or my new favorite one "You know that's psychological and you can overcome it."

When people tell ( Read more... )

I hate chocolate ice cream too. I do kind of like Fire + Ice but I'm totally with you on the ice cream.

My old company used to take clients to Fire + Ice sometimes which I thought was really dumb.

I would just like to openly express my hatred for Fire and Ice also. It doesn't help that one of the cafeterias at Northeastern (where I went to undergrad) was based on Fire and Ice and it was ten times better than any Fire and Ice I've ever been to. When a college cafeteria is better than your restaurant, you shouldn't be open.

Also, I hate jelly beans. I try to like them and think I'll like them and then feel sick whenever I eat even one.

"When a college cafeteria is better than your restaurant, you shouldn't be open."
-we share the same logic.

Yeah Jelly Beans are overrated. Much like candy corns and jimmies, there just sugar and wax. Which is fine if you're into that sort of thing.

I haven't had nothing to do at work in forever. I'm not sure that I ever will, because that place is so disorganized there will always be a mess to clean up.

YES we need TV night, I don't care what night or what we watch. I'm trying to get into the pattern of going home earlier too.

I hope you don't consider it a waste of time when people tell you something and it takes them a half hour when it really should just be a quick "And then my underwear fell out of my pants." (PS true story).

As long as it's entertaining on the way, some stories are just not interesting to begin with, and then I enjoy when the speaker says "Okay, i'm gonna stop talking now." Because then i will never speak around you.

Oh my God, I have DEFINITELY wasted your precious time.
