I'm out of ideas.
I need a lot more drawings for this class, but I can't come up with things to draw. I need more ideas on the lines of vaguely surreal pieces like that one with the heart strung up on street lights - people really seemed to like that one.

Internship has begun
My internship has officially begun. Today, I spent nearly an hour with the head of the Political Science Department, discussing his proposed idea: a 30 second teaser video to entice people to go to the school's site, which will try to convince them to become a P.Sci major ( Read more... ) -

I spent a lot of the morning doing video editing for class! And I must say I quite enjoy the process. It's not that hard and it's very satisfying to see things come together. I could see myself doing it a lot - although I think a career in that requires a few years at film school.

So. Classes.
Language of Video is pretty nice. Not sure how much I like the teacher's style - he's good at teaching, but I don't necessarily think I'd want to work with him on a project, if you know what I mean. Still, I'm learning a lot about camera operation and final cut pro. This class might actually be the most learning I'll do for a long ( Read more... ) -
Notes on Computer Recording and Album Covers
I'm posting this information for myself and for anyone who wants it.
Recording on Windows 7I can't confirm this on any other harddrive, but when I right click my volume, go to recording devices, and doubleclick on "Microphone", the properties has a "Listen" tab, which allows the computer to play, through the speakers, any sound that goes into the ( Read more... )
