Ha ha, well in Kid's defense how many beat-downs/ narrow escapes DID poor Lou get over the three seasons? Lessee . . . her dad; Tyler DeWitt; Pike's henchman; Lambert just to name a few of the top of my head. Of course, Kid got a couple pretty bad lambastings himself, so it probably comes out about even! But the upside of a fight is the making up part, luckily for them. TTYL - E

Awww, Ellie, you made me hungry for cake!!!! Kid really did need to think a little more sometimes before it spoke; it would have kept him out of trouble with Lou!

Great job Ellie! Love it. I can so Lou giving to him but still letting him know she was still perturbed at his over-bearingness. And scooby fan (love the name btw), Kid is just too much like most men, they speak without thinking! :P

Thanks, Shannon, and yes poor Kid. He's a man, indeed, and they don't always say quite the right thing, do they, LOL.

Thank you Scooby Fan (nice to meet you if I haven't before, LOL). Kid opened mouth and inserted foot that time for sure, and I figured Lou being Lou would punish him just a little for it before she let him have his present and forgave him, he he.

Yes, Paola and I both have a fondness for sweet little Kid/Lou stories. She posted a bunny about a gapfiller a while back for adoption, about whether Lou ever gave Kid that coat from the cholera episode; and I picked up on it. I then sent her the story to review and shamelessly begged like a dog for her to illustrate it, and was so happy when she picked the little snuggle moment in the coat to illustrate. She's incredibly talented, isn't she?
