Merry Christmas
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. This year has been tough. To add to everything else, my grandmother (my dad's mom) passed away last Friday night. Poor Lainey was devastated as she adored her great grandma and she was the last "grandma" she had (Russell's mom died before we met and Lainey is actually named for her Grandma Elaine).

My mom
We are still notifying family so we are holding off on updating on Facebook but I wanted to share this will my friends here. My mom passed away this evening. My sister went in to check on her about an hour after I had left. While I wish desperately that she was still with us, I'm thankful that she is no longer in any pain and at rest. We still have family to call so I'm not posting this on facebook yet. My sister and I went with my mom to her onocologist appointment today. We have seen a serious decline in the last few weeks. Her heartbeat is irregular and she is having serious respiratory issues so they are admitting her. They said it should only take a day or two to get things ( Read more... ) -

As you know, I've overhauling Running for Their Lives to include more on Tyler and Louise relationship.
