Im so simply plain its not even funny. I'm no more special than anyone in the world. I'm just normal. I don't like being highlighted for doing good or bad things. At work im recognized for doing good deeds. Staying late, getting on early, doing things on a moments notice. How many other people do that and never get recognized for it? Why me? Why am

Everyone needs a little recognition now and then. Don't worry about getting it, even if you don't quite feel you deserve it. You know what I'd recommend? If you really do feel so uncomfortable with that kind of attention, turn it back around. Recognize the people whom you feel don't get the recognition they deserve. You'll make the world just a little brighter that way.

I'm actually in the middle about writing a paper on just that idea. I'm arguing that Gregor Samsa became a gigantic vermin because he didn't get the recognition he'd earned. Now you wouldn't want that to happen to one of your coworkers, would you?

Hey honey there's nothing wrong with being different, trust me i know. but i totally understand where your coming from. Just accept it for now. if it changes it changes but if not oh well. oh and i never want to see or hear you say that you're not special ever again you hear me? Because you are special. You're way more special than you think. It just tkes others to see it and tell you so there. :)
