I haven't had Internet a whole week because I don't have it yet in my new place. But now I'm back at my parents house so got a lotta catching up to do.
So I went to see all of friends in the sidebar, and padawansguide has just made my day to....I love those pictures! I'm so freaking exited ! I can bake pancakes all night long! -

So I finished the lines on the Nefertiri mask (finally). I can be so slow sometimes.
I've been real busy this weekend. Bin to a friend who recently bought a new puppy dog (the other passed away a couple of months ago, was only 3 years old).
She's such a cutie. Always waging her tail, licking everybody:

working on the mask
I spend the whole evening on making the ‘stripes’ on Nefertiri’s mask. Thanks to padawansguide for posting the link to propstore.co.uk, where they are currently selling the original mask and have some amazing close-up pictures of it!
Because the mask is made out of plastic I thought it would be a good idea to make the stripes with paper maché (instead of clay ( Read more... ) -

Teaching the dog to say ‘mama’. Only progress so far is that she keeps barking every time I say it.
I actually decided to do the Nefertiri costume. I know that you have to finish some projects first before you start some, but I thought: what the hell with it! And began on her bracelets.

We came back from Scotland Sunday, I took a couple of days to resettle and sort my things out.
Scotland was wonderful! Such a beautiful country and very nice people. We actually had very nice weather. Usually it’s very rainy in Scotland, but we had a lot of sun, so we were very luckyJ .

I won't start with the "how the hell could they do this again" thing on London, I know most people think that. But I would love to say that I'm so grateful that my 2 best friends didn't planned there holiday on that date, but my hart goes out to all the people who had to be a victim of this awful attack. For my study I had to live somewhere else, so I rented a room in a nice city near my university. Only problem with it is that the walls were somewhat molded...yes fungus...yuk, because of the moist. So my mother and I battled this moist for 3 days now, and the walls finally look decent now. I already painted the biggest part of the room. My ( Read more... )
