Chiurgeon equipment = 3 bandages and a celphone... since if it takes more than 3 bandages to fix, there's probably paperwork and you should call someone in...
Meh, one would think with something the size of Estrella would have a bit more than that, but no biggie. One would hope the would have at least ACLS gear since we have enough dehydrated old fat men with bad diets trying to beat the crap out of each other. Good outcomes starts with early help.
the 3-bandages an a celphone is the long running joke, and well practiced in some kingdoms where the threat of personal-injury suit is excessive. I've had Chiurgeons wrap sprains and treat thermal injuries on me. And there has been at least one child delivered in an encampment by chiurgeons due to slow arrival of local paramedics. I'm not certain on all the paperwork requirements of the office, though there isn't quite the propensity to dehydration you'd imagine due to the advocacy of society waterbearers.
Ah, yeah I'm not in the loop (yet) with SCA satire. Believe it or not AZ is one of the best states as far as Good Samaritan laws go. So long as you're not paid, and are doing the best you can without doing anything "dumb" (read, make sure you know what you're doing) even if the outcome is bad; they can't touch you. That and I will have a personal liability insurance, which most RNs carry.
