I fear the worst. The musical SLAUGHTERS Hugo's book. No amount of show-stopping music can make up for that.

Hooper made the decision to record the entire thing "live"--the actors sang during filming, rather than recording songs beforehand, and having the actors lip-sync when filming.

I don't even see it projected here, but at leas there have been previews, so that's hopeful. Can't wait!

Well, they're just not selling advance tickets yet. However, I'll be in the SF Bay Area for three weeks just after Christmas, so I'll see it then for sure.

So many movies I want to see this season--Anna Karenina, Life of Pi, Sessions, etc.
