Well, after six months of empirical observations, I have come to the conclusion that black people are the rudest. I know it probably sounds racist, but considering the very small percentage of customers they make up, they make up a disproportionate number of bad experiences I have with customers. The most common way they order food is by yelling, yo! give me six wings!, then I always get griped at that the prices are too high, food taking too long, frequent complaints, some not even legit, just done in the hopes of getting free food. And mostly they order at the counter, but when they sit down and order from a server, they almost never never tip.
I would say the least rude are Asians. Not that they are the model customers, but I've never had a moment where I felt like one was being excessively rude.
I wonder if the fact that they appear to be yelling their orders could be because that's not strange in the discourse community that a lot of black people in IC belong to. Not that I would know, just a thought. Not that that explains the complaints or not tipping.
