I've always had this problem with mumbling, but I've recently realized that maybe its about time I learn how to project myself a little better while talking. Its not really worth all the misunderstanding or "I'm sorry, what?"'s I get every day. I thought it was my out-of-place accent, but its not. A) I didn't realize you come from an Italian family. Dining at Little Bear's parents' is a trip, because I frequently get both his mother and father talking to me at the same time on two different subjects. They don't even notice being interrupted.

B) Teaching cured me of mumbling REAL quick. They launch so many questions at you that there's not time to answer them more than once.

I think it's VARY VARY INAPPROPRIAET for you to stereotype his Italian-American family like that.

In any case, just refer to things as "a spicy meatball" and you'll be ok.

Wops mind being stereotyped? harhar. I'll have to test out the meatball thing at the next talking-at-son's-medigone-goomah fest. Sike, I like his family a lot, though they do have some habits like that that are hard to get used to.
